Join us on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:00–8:00 PM for an evening of community, fun, and family-friendly activities at Van Aken District!

National Night Out is an annual celebration held in communities across the country to strengthen relationships between neighbors and the first responders who help keep our community safe. It's a great opportunity to meet the people behind the badges, learn about local safety resources, and enjoy an evening together.

Here's what you can look forward to:

🚓 Meet Shaker Heights Police officers, including the K-9 Unit

🚒 Say hello to our firefighters and paramedics

🚑 Explore emergency vehicles, including police cruisers, a fire engine, ambulance, and BearCat

🏡 Visit the Shaker Heights Police Community Resource Center

🚴 Pick up a free bike helmet while supplies last

🦺 Learn about home, bike, fire, and water safety from local safety professionals

🎯 Enjoy games, activities, food, and family-friendly entertainment

Whether you're climbing aboard a fire truck, meeting a police K-9, or simply spending time with neighbors, National Night Out is a fun way to celebrate our community and the partnerships that make it stronger.
